ONLINE MIXING

Have you recorded a song but can't get the sound you want? Have you done almost everything, but feel like there are little things that don't sound as they should? We can help you with our online mixing service to achieve the goal of a perfect mix.

See how:

Track mixing

If you have recorded with Nuendo, Cubase or Pro Tools, just send us the project folder with its corresponding files. Please, take your time to organize the project as well as possible (name tracks and files, organize tracks, etc.).

But if you haven't used these DAWs, don't worry. In that case, you just have to send us the WAV or AIFF tracks that you want to mix. In order for our work to success, you must export them all from the same point, preferably from the second zero, and they must all end at the same time, they must be the same length. Each DAW has its own process for exporting tracks, but this is usually not a complicated task.

We can also accept swap files, AAF format for example, although in our experience the above method (exporting tracks) tends to be less tricky.

Once you are clear about how you are going to send the material, you only have to send it us through the method you prefer (WeTransfer for example). Please remember that it's important that all the tracks and files reach us well organized and with the correct names, if possible, everything within a ZIP or RAR folder.

To mix we have many "colors", to name a few:

  • Nuendo and Cubase
  • Protools
  • 2 x UAD OCTO
  • UAD Ocean Way, Ampex, SSL, Neve...
  • Waves CLA, Diamond...
  • EVE Audio SC208
  • Yamaha HS5 + HS8S
  • Sennheiser HD 600

  • STEMS mixing

Let's say you have a mix that you've already started, but although the overall sound doesn't displease you, there are certain things that don't convince you.

You could send us some STEMS of your mix and let us adjust those little details for you. For instance, you could send us a STEM of the bass that includes DI signal plus amp tracks already mixed up, a stereo pair of the entire drums, the guitars on another stereo track, the backing vocals, the lead vocal, a STEM that includes all effects...

This way, we would focus the mix following the guidelines already established by you.

If you have recorded with Nuendo, Cubase or Pro Tools, just send us the project folder with the STEMS you think necessary to send. Please, take your time to organize the project as well as possible (name tracks and files, organize tracks, etc.).

  • Low Cost mixing

If you have a song that you can't mix to your liking, you want it to sound good, but you don't need it to match the high standards of a record production: We offer you the "Low Cost" mixing service to give your mockup a professional touch.

Everything you need to know about how to send us the material you want to mix can be found in the Track mixing section.

    Mix Consulting

All of us who have ever faced the mixing process know very well how easily our perception of the desired sound can get the wrong direction. Sometimes from been tired, sometimes from hearing fatigue, sometimes from using a process that could be avoided or be used in another more effective way...

Whatever the reason, from time to time it could be very useful to have a second opinion and that, exactly, is what we offer you at JingleBit.

If at any point you are not sure about where's your sound going and you need another perspective, here we are.

In order to give you our point of view, we will need a stereo file of the mix you are working on. Please avoid sending us files that compromise your sound, such as compressed files: mp3, mp4, ogg, etc. We will need a 44.1 khz 24-bit WAV or AIFF file from you for this service.

Currently, we offer our online mixing services only for certain styles of music: Rock, Heavy, Country, Songwriter, Ballads, Melodic Song, House and Pop. In short, musical genres that we know well and in which we are able to give the best of us, giving your sound the right touch it may need.

If you have any questions, or want to ask us for a quote, do not hesitate to contact us. You can also check our rates here.
